As green as green can be
I took this in London high up above the street and through a floor to ceiling window.. Felt a bit like I was going to fall off which was daft because there was glass in the way , but worth it to capture that glorious green softness in juxtaposition with the hard shapes..
.
What a gorgeous colour it is!
I was surprised to see such green at this time of year.. Tilly
Niely spotted! Robinia pseudo acacia Frisia. A mouthful for such a pretty tree.
Absolutely right, Rachael 😉
LOVE this, that awesome contrast between nature and an artificial urban setting.
Also, I love the locust tree!
The contrast was startling
Fantastic photo Helen – it has everything within a simple composition – the diagonal dance between the green, grays and blacks is brilliant – you have a good eye (and long toenails!)…
I have decided I must cut them John …. 🙂
Thanks for the foot note…
are you always this funny John 😉
Only when my fancy is tickled…
Something about the randomness of all the objects together in this one picture really pulls at me! And being a plant person, I am loving the tree and it’s pathetic yet bold state of being!
Amber, somehow I missed this comment from Oct 2012… I was reviewing my blog and have just come across it.. thanks for your comment 🙂
