Happy World Photography Week – Hare Close-up

Close (1 of 1)

I had meant to post this yesterday on World Photography Day but other things got in the way so it’s Happy World Photography Week instead !

I have not posted since March. There are several reasons for that but the principal one was that I had a heart attack in April, completely out of the blue and with no warning.  I woke up, the Tuesday after Easter, having a heart attack, phoned 999 and was blue-lighted to Papworth Hospital, luckily one of the best cardiac and lung hospitals, not just in the UK, but in the world.

I had to go back in June for further heart work and am now feeling very well but you can imagine I had other things on my mind for quite a while !

I’ve been out with the hares again..  This was taken in June. This fine creature came very close to me and as I had a prime lens on my camera I could not zoom out, so this is not a crop.

What beautiful eyes and whiskers hares have, don’t they?

You can see my other photos with the hares tag here. There are a lot of them and there will be a lot more!

If you are viewing on a phone you may need to click on “View full site” which will be right at the very bottom of the page, you will then be able to view the photos with a black background, as they should be viewed.

I love to hear what you have to say about anything I post.

If you don’t already know my other blog 1500 Saturdays I hope you’ll pop over and take a look, though I don’t post much these days here

  1. I am so very sorry to hear how unwell you have been Helen and am glad you have recovered well. What a terrible shock for you.

I love your photos and have painted watercolours of them which you kindly showed.

    With every good wish,
