An Evening in the Company of Wind Turbines.
.
I love the way the light and colour changes so quickly in the evening and that we seem to have much more sky over here in the flat fens. 😉
This first shot shows the watering of the potato crop. The water is pumped from the Fen drains.

Thanks Sedge and welcome to my blog I hope you’ll have a little look around and drop by again 🙂
Lovely atmospheric collection, Helen. 🙂
Thanks Mufidah.. I was in my element.
Stunning … amazing as always, and I love wind farms – we have plenty in our county – out in the ocean between Malmö and Copenhagen … is there a massive one – and it’s a stunning view from the train and the bridge.
I’d love to see them Viveka.. they must be awesome
Are they very loud?
When they go very fast Kathryn, in a strong wind, they have a powerful sort of swishing sound.
Kind of humbling plus GREEN ! Yay!
Great atmosphere, catched brillant!
Thank you Wanderer 😀
A great series Helen. I love wind turbines, though I admit that I don’t have any in my back yard.
I love them too, dave.. would rather have them in my backyard than a coal fired power station !
I can’t argue with that Helen. 🙂
Really like that last image, great series!
Thanks David, glad you like them!
Good pics, Helen! I particularly like the 3rd down – that huge sun next to the turbines does it for me. By the by, do you think turbines disfigure landscape? I think them very beautiful structures. Adrian
No I don’t Adrian.. I think they are beautiful and majestic structures..
That orange is a treasure of serendipity! How amazing to capture a full disk of it! Great shots.
It was a wonderful evening Scilla..
Simply marvelous!
