Oh, I really like this!!! Very poetic…evocative but sparse.
Thanks for your enthusiasm.. I love that about you 😀
Love this, a peep through the curtains. Very poetic as Scillagrace says 🙂
Thanks Caroline… poetic is always good
Absolutely excellent shot, Helen – with spot on use of restored colour! Adrian
Thank you.. I was rather pleased with this one.
Love the slip of colour in this.
Thanks Tilly.. I hope all is well with you
Good, thanks 🙂
Very mysterious shot … and very inviting … bold and delicate. I have a fetish for windows and photos.
haha.. glad you like it Viveka..
Very nice..quirky, but nice..
(BUT..Still no Cuban automobiles……boo hoo!)
Nothing wrong with Quirky ! I’m sure there might be one or 2 Cuban cars at some point !
If I hold my breath for much longer I will have the vapours!!!!
Have mercy…

‘History’!! …….(first sign of middle age …when man is more interested in matters automotive than matters of the flesh…..)
Of course I’m not middle aged or a man for that matter 😉
Well no, of course you aint…but I did think you might have grabbed your camera and donned a mantle of temporary ‘geezerdome’ to snap a few rustbuckets for me…given that I asked so nicely…
😉
Well I did take a few.. it’s getting to them . You know how it is.. always something else to photograph!
Well have pity on a poor old car-deprived soul and…
“GET BLOODY ROUND TO IT !!!!!!!!!!! ”
(pretty please). 🙂
sooon 😉
Interestingly the colour represents less than 10% of the picture but 90% of the impact. Well captured.
Thank you Louis and eloquently put !
A very cool picture, Helen. It opens up for the imagination to flow. What is out there behind the curtain? It musters both mystery and curiosity.
Thanks Otto.. I appreciate your comments 🙂
It feels like, getting up in the morning and peeking out into the possibilities of the day. Those possibilities look like perfection…
what a lovely thing to say.. thanks karen..
A really nice piece of minimalism. The colour peaking through the gap in the curtain has great impact and really draws the eye in.
I was trying to portray the coolness inside ( the grey) with the heat outside ( the vibrant green)
