Weekly Photo Challenge: The Sign Says – take 2

I was at the Strawberry Fair in Cambridge at the weekend as you will know if you have been following this week. You can see the first Weekly Photo Challenge here

As I was about to leave I noticed this washing line hanging between 2 trees situated back from the road.

Naturally I went to have a look because I could see there was writing on the clothing.

These first said “take the shirt off my back” and “you might as well take the shirt off my back”

This next one has words on the soles of boots “sanctions” workfare” and “1.6 million living in poverty”

and the last one said

“I might be disabled but I’m not thick

Your Big Society and cuts are making me sick”

This sign below was nearby and speaks volumes.

If you don’t already know my other blog 1500 Saturdays I hope you’ll pop over and take a look here
