A Hue or Two of Blue
.
The photo I gave you yesterday was taken outside the O2 Arena in London ( it used to be the Millenium Dome) when I was there with my son at the tennis which I wrote about here
These were also taken in and around the Arena
Addendum – In response to a couple of the comments on this I’ve got to confess that the first one was a huge poster of photographers not real ones 😉

Several people have asked where they might buy cards/prints of my work so I am gradually adding some favourites to my new Redbubble shopping page here What fun!

The first one is amazing!!! How you perfectly exposed for the blue and the photographers behind…BRAVO!!!
Ohh .. please read the addendum ‘ve just added into the post Suburbaphobe. The first one is not what it seems..
Well it’s still VERY cool! 🙂
Wow! I really like these, Helen! What a creative set. That first shot is particularly striking. Not only a superb feat of exposure, but a really great composition!
Thanks Melanie but the 1st one isn’t what it seems.. please read the addendum in the post 😉
these are beautiful…well done.
Thanks Nigel..
I love the first one too, even with the addendum! And the second, were they lights? They look a bit like plant seed-heads 🙂
Yes caroline.. they were indeed lights
Lovely collection! I especially like the second image 🙂
Thanks Mufidah… I didn’t know I loved blue so much..
Helen, these are really beautiful abstractions!
Terrific.
Thanks Karen .. I enjoyed editing these
A great set here. I like the mysterious form in the last one. Looks man-made but reminiscent of an iceberg.
It was a brushed aluminium ( I think) sculpture reaching up into the night sky Scilla.
Excellent stuff, Helen! I especially like the 3rd one down – amazing! Adrian
that is secretely my favourite Adrian !
Nice! – as a matter of interest were you using AWB or did you correct in post – or didn’t it seem to matter?
My fav = the red and blue one.
Stephen I was using AWB and then corrected where needed in Nikon Software.. I always shoot in RAW
🙂
Have you ever tried going back to shooting jpg? ‘orrible!
No I confess I’ve never been tempted!
Super set Helen. Love them all.
thanks Dave.. I’m glad you do 🙂
Second one is awesome!! Beautiful collections!!
