Softness in pink and green ( well and a bit of grey actually! )

I am going to be away for a week so apologise in advance for not being able to comment much, if at all, on my favourite blogs or respond to comments on here. I will have some access to the internet but hey! I’m on holiday 😉

These photos are about softness colour and tone not crispness

  1. Hi Helen! The top three here are exquisitly beautiful; the mono one works well too but it simply can’t match the others. The lack of sharpness is completely immaterial and in every case the background is just right. The spider is wonderful – it appears to be translucent and lit from below, and the yellow veins its standing on are pushing this image towards the surreal. Wow! I like this so much I’m going to reblog it. Adrian

Here are soft and exquisitly beautiful images from Helen Cherry – they knock me flat! The mono one is good, but the other three really get to me. The lack of sharpness is completely immaterial, the bright, pastel colours ooze freshness and beauty, and in every case the backdrop is just right. The spider is wonderful – it appears to be translucent and lit from below, and the yellow leaf veins its standing on push this image towards the surreal. Wonderful stuff, Helen – keep on keeping on! 3. Lovely series, Helen. Especially, love the third image 🙂 We’re in Burgos, Spain, and are having a tricky wifi time, so I’m not able to follow blogs as much as usual. Although that seems to be becoming the refrain of our travels, and something I expect will continue wherever we go. Ho hum … Enjoy your week away!
