Just a white tree
I was at the National Trusts Wimpole Estate yesterday and found some white barked Birch trees with late afternoon light on them..so here’s a few photos most as taken but a couple with some colour changes. More of my experimentation and learning. ….
but ….

I love the paper birch…so delicate and clean. The tree in the background looks like one of those camera hogs on TV that pokes up out of a crowd just hoping to get some extra attention on air!
That’s a great description Scilla… I thought you might have mentioned Lord of the Rings 😉
White trees… beautiful dear Helen… You captured them so nicely, how impressive… Thank you, with my love, nia
thank you Nia 🙂
Really like these, but think I prefer the full colour ones (which is odd, because I love my monochrome photography, and the tree is perfectly suited to it…) Thanks for the post!
Thanks Richard.. my personal favourite is the 1st one. because of the colouring.
They are VERY white. Almost pristine. Must be the sunlight. Mine outside are greyish compared to these.
I think they must have scrubbed them because they were indeed pristine 🙂
One of my favorite trees! Always makes me think of Robert Frost.
OH thank you for sharing that lovely poem 😀 It’s one of my favourites too..but then I’m a self confessed treeaholic !
