Well I didn’t say the faces would always be human faces 😀
A tiny Terrapin taken through glass ( hence the lack of crisp focus) at a garden centre on New Years Eve. I was travelling and had stopped for a break and simply couldn’t resist this face..
Lovely picture, Helen. When the subject matter etc is as strong as that the odd technical imperfection doesn’t matter, no-one (except perhaps you!) would notice
He reminds me of Boxy, the ornate box turtle who lives at the Nature Center where I volunteer. Boxy has to have her “beak” trimmed by a vet periodically. I wonder if they can trim it into a smile like this one?
What a character! 🙂
I’m not sure who was watching who, Karen.
Better than a human face.
haha Elena 🙂

Ahhh but perfection is always the aim !
This gave me a nice little chuckle 😉 We have a phrase….’he’s so ugly, he’s cute!’
He /she certainly fell into that category KP

You’ll have to ask them to, Scilla..
I can almost hear the turtle saying “hello” 🙂
Very nice face !
Thank you Mathias.. he was only 4cms long ( 1 1/2 inches) and cute as anything
What an adorable face! It’s like a turtle with a pig’s nose!
That’s exactly what I thought Emily..
